Outside Sales Representative
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Outside Sales Representative
for our client, a leader in its industry. This is a fantastic opportunity
to join a well established and growing company. As a Sales Representative
you will develop close working relationships with all types of clients in
a variety of industries. The successful applicant will be responsible for
growing and developing a base of corporate accounts. This person will deal
with prospects and clients at a manager/director level and be responsible
for selling the company’s services to these accounts. This position will
appeal to those who have excellent prospecting, sales, and relationship
building skills. The ideal candidate will have previous business to business
sales experience, selling a service, as opposed to a product.
Responsibilities will include:
- Increasing sales and market share via newly generated accounts.
- Developing a keen awareness of how to resource sales leads, including networking with your local business community and use of the internet as a vital marketing tool.
- Prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Generating accurate account strategies for prospective and current clients.
- Contacting prospective customers and establishing customer relationships.
- Delivering sales presentations to prospective accounts and closing new business.
- Providing exceptional customer service to both existing customers and prospects.
- Managing existing accounts including execution of the account maintenance program and maintaining regular client contact.
- Must have a car and be prepared for frequent travel within the Lower Mainland.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of successful business development/sales experience.
- Desire and passion for sales/business development - including cold calling, negotiating and handling objections.
- The applicant must be tenacious, outgoing and ambitious, with an organized and structured work ethic.
- Proven track record in prospecting, soliciting new business, and full sales-cycle experience initiating sales involving multiple influencers.
- A strong customer service orientation and ability to form long-term customer relationships.
- The ability to focus, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to accept wide responsibilities with little direct supervision.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
