Strata Manager - FILLED

We are currently recruiting for a Strata Manager, for our client in Vancouver.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • serving as the Chair of Strata meetings
  • managing and maintaining a portfolio of strata buildings
  • reviewing property accounts
  • producing operating budgets, scheduling of strata fees and statements
  • correspondence with landlords, tenants, and clients
  • issuing letters and notices
  • arranging the prompt preparation and distribution of monthly or bi-monthly owner statements and accompanying payments
  • imposing fines and penalties
  • handling evictions and arbitrations
  • arranging contracting work for properties
  • reviewing strata property minutes
  • conduct inspections and showings
  • ensuring properties are maintained in accordance with the owner’s instructions. Threfore liaising regularly with both owners and tenants to ensure repairs are carried out efficiently, economically and to an acceptable standard
  • maintaining and ensuring property is clean and presentable at all times

     

    Knowledge/Experience

  • Strata Management or Property Management licence is an asset
  • Proven mediation experience in resolving Tenancy Tribunal matters
  • Strong administration skills – organised, thorough, systems orientated with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to handle a portfolio of properties and manage a small team of staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships and maintain an excellent customer focus
