Superintendent, Human Resources (Contract in Yellowknife) - FILLED

We are currently recruiting for a Superintendent, Human Resources for our client, a large global mining company, to supervise and manage a team in Yellowknife, Canada.

Reporting to the Manager, HR & Training, you will be responsible for providing leadership within the organisation, and developing the HR team to deliver effective services including recruitment, compensation, employee relations, talent management and employee development. You will also develop departmental strategies, policies, systems and procedures to support business needs.

You will have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources Management with at least 7 years of HR generalist experience. Your ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the operation is essential, with experience in the mining sector beneficial.

This position is located in Yellowknife, Canada. Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate.

This position is being offered full time fixed term for 18 months. It is anticipated that some travel will be required.
