Customer Support Specialist with Medical Laboratory Experience - FILLED
Staff Systems is recruiting for a Customer Support Specialist with medical laboratory experience for our client, an international company in the medical/biotech industry, to join their growing and dynamic team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing customer service pertaining to the testing programs
- Answering customer emails and phone inquiries regarding ordering, invoices, program information and shipments
- Management of customer support emails
- Management of customer information in database – entering laboratory’s demographic and registration information into the system, submitting results, phoning laboratories for missing results, sending reports via email and fax
- Ordering sample material from vendors
- Management of import permits for sample material
- Management of sample information, reagents and instruments in database
- Statistical evaluation of results
- Reviewing results with consultants
- Generating, reviewing, and broadcasting of administrative reports
- Troubleshooting failed results with customers and/or sample vendors
- Providing administrative support to VP of Operations
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the individual will possess:
- University degree or a technical institute diploma in the field of Medical Laboratory Technology or Science. RT or MLT registration preferred
- 1-3 years work experience in a Clinical Laboratory setting
- Working knowledge of QC and QA, and familiarity with laboratory statistical analysis
- Fluency in speaking and writing English. Chinese an asset
- High organization and time management skills
- Solid knowledge of computer skills (i.e. MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, Internet Explorer). Knowledge of MS Access is an asset.

- Strong customer service drive and ethic
- Ability to work with little or no supervision in a fast paced team oriented environment
