Assistant Controller - FILLED
Staff Systems is recruiting for a talented Assistant Controller.
Our client, a leader in its field, is seeking a full time Assistant Controller. This position will be on a temporary basis to start, but has a good possibility of going permanent. The ideal candidate takes initiative, has excellent critical thinking skills, is CMA or CGA designated and has experience working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly financial statements and monthly variance reports
- Identify opportunities for improving and making recommendations
- Administration of insurance programs and claims management
- Special projects as they arise
